    My Siamese kitty is turning 1 year old on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010, so I got him a Catit Pet Fountain! For about two days he was terrified of it, but eventually he started using it. I recommend this fountain (or any, for that matter) because it uses a carbon filter, and oxygenates the water more than something out of the tap. The cats like the water trickling, and it is fresher for them. They drink more, leading to less crystal formation in their urinary tract, so ultimately it has great health benefits too!

    If your cat or dog also wants to drink from a garden hose or an indoor faucet, might I suggest you buy him/her a pet fountain. My cat now drinks much more water and he is no longer attracted to the garden hose.
